Refund Policy

The short version
If you're not happy with a brief, email us within 7 days and we'll refund your payment. No questions, no forms, no friction. We'll ask one short question so we can learn what went wrong, but you can decline to answer.
How to request a refund
Email hello@yourbrief.io from the address on your order. Include your order number. We will refund within 3 business days. Stripe handles the actual money movement and may take 5-10 days to show on your statement.
When refunds don't apply
Refunds are not available after 7 days from the order date. If you have used the brief in commercial work (e.g. cited it in a product decision that was implemented), we may decline the refund. Use the brief preview on the order page before requesting a refund if you're unsure.
Subscription refunds (Pro and Team plans)
Pro ($199/mo) and Team ($499/mo) subscriptions can be canceled at any time. You retain access through the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate refunds for partial months unless there was a service outage. If we had an outage affecting your work, email us and we'll prorate.
Disputes
If you dispute a charge through your bank or card issuer without emailing us first, we'll freeze the account pending resolution. We'd rather just give you the refund directly — it's faster, simpler, and you keep your account in good standing.
